"Ivy" Smoke

SmokeJump throw

  1. Stand. Push into the corner of this scratched bollard, then look in the direction of the arrow.
  2. Aim. Aim at the top of the stack of cans on the roof, then Jump Throw.
  3. Throw. Jump throw: hold left click, then jump and release the grenade at the same moment.

"A Cross" Smoke

  1. Stand. Push into the center of this steel column.
  2. Aim. Place Grenade Line-up Reticle tick '-2x' on the chicken's head, then Normal Throw.
  3. Throw. Standing throw: stay still and release left click.

  2. Aim. Place Grenade Line-up Reticle tick '-2x' on the pipe bracket, then Jump Throw.
  3. Throw. Jump throw: hold left click, then jump and release the grenade at the same moment.

How to practise these Train lineups

Start a private match on Train (offline with bots, or your own server), open the developer console and enter sv_cheats 1. Then copy a lineup's line and paste it into the console: setpos puts you on Valve's throw spot and setang turns you to face the aim point, so all that is left is the throw itself.

Some of these lineups use the Grenade Line-up Reticle: with the grenade in hand, hold the fire button until the reticle appears, then line up the tick the instructions name.
