🔀 Why Every Site Gives a Different Number
Three different questions hide behind "how much is my inventory worth", and each has its own answer:
- Steam Market value — what listings ask on Steam. Highest on paper, but the money never leaves Steam and Valve keeps ~13–15% of every sale.
- Cash value — what third-party marketplaces (Buff163, Skinport, CSFloat, DMarket and others) pay in real currency. Usually 20–35% below Steam asks for the same item. This is the figure SteamAnalyst totals by default, because it is the one you can actually withdraw.

Bulk pricing values each item at the going rate for its name and wear. Four things can make a specific copy worth far more, and a calculator only catches some of them:

If your inventory has a Case Hardened, a Doppler, a Fade or a low-float knife, check the item page for that specific copy after the bulk total — the difference can be the biggest number in your inventory.
📈 Track It Instead of Checking It
An inventory total is a snapshot. Skin prices move daily, and the interesting question is usually not "what is it worth" but "is it going up".
