SkinVault Review

SkinVault is a CS2 trade bot with a cash marketplace attached, run out of Dubai and launched in February 2024. Items live in its own bot accounts rather than in a seller's Steam inventory, which is the trade-off the whole platform turns on: you give up the peer-to-peer model and you get delivery that does not wait for anybody.

It is the largest bot book we price. Our feed carries 17,506 named items from it, around $1.6 million of listed inventory, and it is the only market on the skin page that earns a row on both the buy side and the Trading Sites card — because it publishes two prices per item and they mean different things. Measured against the cross-market median for the same names, its cash ask sits at a 0.9902 median ratio (p25-p75 0.960-1.014): at market, not under it.

The trade side is where to read the fine print. Across all 17,506 items its trade quote is never below its own cash ask, and at the median it is 3.2% above — 10.5% at the upper quartile. That is normal for a trade bot and it is the cost of paying in items instead of money, but it is worth knowing before you assume trading in is the cheaper route.

The limits are its age and its opacity. It has been running since February 2024, its 4.2 Trustpilot rating rests on 192 reviews, and it publishes no fee schedule of its own — the two third-party directories that do publish one say 10% and 0% respectively, which is a wide enough gap to treat both as unconfirmed.
