CS2 Fade Skins

Every weapon that can carry a Fade or Marble Fade — 28 in total, from a $6 MAC-10 to a five-figure Karambit.

Fade is the one pattern family graded on a number. The gradient’s travel across the blade is a deterministic function of paint seed and weapon, so a copy is 96.2% or it is not — where a Case Hardened is “a gem” only once somebody has looked at it. Every weapon has its own achievable range, which is why a 90% on a Glock is a different animal from a 90% on a Bayonet.

We don’t publish a fade percentage per seed, because we don’t hold the seed-to-travel mapping each weapon needs and a plausible wrong number is worse than none on a figure that moves price by 30–80%. For how to read a fade and what the tiers are worth, see the Fade percentage guide. For per-seed screenshots, the pattern browser shows community rankings alongside images.

Fade percentage — how far the gradient has travelled across the blade, and how much purple reaches the tip. It is a deterministic function of seed and weapon, so it is calculated rather than judged, and every weapon has its own achievable range. 100% is the ceiling; on Glock-18 and AWP the scarce direction is a high-purple "full fade" rather than the raw number.

Premium

100% fade typically adds 30-80% over an average copy of the same wear.

Zero yellow on the playside — red and blue only — is "Fire & Ice". Any playside yellow demotes it to Fake Fire & Ice or Tricolor. Within true F&I, copies are ranked by how much red dominates ("1st Max", "2nd Max"). Classification is per-knife: the same seed is not F&I on every model.

Premium

True Fire & Ice runs 3-10x a standard Marble Fade; top Max tiers well beyond.
