CS2 Loadout Builder - Plan Your Perfect Inventory

The SteamAnalyst Loadout Builder is the most comprehensive free tool for planning your Counter-Strike 2 inventory. Browse over 20,000 CS2 skins across every weapon category — rifles, pistols, SMGs, shotguns, machine guns, knives, and gloves — and build the loadout you've always wanted. Every skin shows real-time market pricing so you know exactly what your dream inventory costs.

Key Features

  • 40,000+ Skins Database: Every CS2 weapon skin, knife, glove and agent on the Steam Market, with live pricing and marketplace offers.
  • Budget Optimizer: Set your total budget and distribute spending across every category — knives, gloves, each weapon class and your agents — with adjustable sliders. Within a category the money follows the weapons a loadout is judged on, and whatever is left over is spent filling the slots that came back empty and upgrading the ones that show it.
  • Spending Styles: Value, Balanced or Splurge: fill more of the board for the money, weight it towards the guns people actually skin, or put nearly the whole rifle budget on the AK and the AWP.
  • Knife + Glove Combo Generator: Find visually matching knife and glove combinations with color-theme matching and compatibility scoring.
  • Color-Themed Loadouts: Choose a color theme and the auto-generator picks skins that match it. When a slot’s budget reaches nothing on-theme it can fall back to a neighbouring colour, hold out for the theme and leave the slot empty, or take the best skin of any colour — and the board tells you afterwards how many slots actually matched.
  • 3D Viewer: Inspect any equipped skin in 3D, or open the whole loadout in one viewer with your gloves and agent equipped.
  • Loadout Grade: A live S–D grade scoring how complete, rare, well-paired and on-theme your board is, with the next thing worth changing.
  • Budget Scrubber: One slider re-prices the whole board by sliding every skin along its own wear ladder — same finishes, cheaper condition.
  • Where to Buy: Live offers from the marketplaces we track, a per-item cheapest plan and a single-checkout plan with its premium stated.
  • Gen Codes: Copy !gen commands for every equipped skin to preview the loadout on a community gen server.
  • Import from Inventory: Pull your actual CS2 inventory into the builder, stickers and charms included where they can be matched.
  • Save, Share & Compare: Save a loadout, share it with a link, make it public for others to discover, and compare two boards side by side.
  • Export as Image: Download a PNG of your loadout to share on social media, Discord, or forums.
  • StatTrak Preference: Toggle StatTrak preference to prioritize StatTrak variants when auto-generating your loadout.
  • Condition Preference: Reach for Factory New and Minimal Wear, or for the battle-scarred end of each finish’s wear ladder — the same skin for less.
  • Undo/Redo: Revert or redo any change with keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z), and your board is kept in this browser between visits.

How to Use the Loadout Builder

  1. Select a weapon slot by clicking on any weapon card in the main grid.
  2. Browse and pick skins from the side panel. Search by name, filter by rarity, colour and StatTrak, sort by price, and open a finish to choose its wear condition.
  3. Or let it build for you — Generate asks for a budget and a colour theme, keeps the skins you have already picked, and fills the rest. The dice on an empty slot rolls just that one.
  4. Try the Knife + Glove Combo Generator to find matching combinations that look great together in-game.
  5. Check the grade and the price — the budget scrubber re-prices the whole board along its wear ladder, and Where to Buy shows what the loadout actually costs across marketplaces.
  6. Save and share your loadout once you're happy with your selections, export it as an image, or compare it with another build.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the CS2 Loadout Builder?

The CS2 Loadout Builder is a free tool that lets you plan and visualize your ideal Counter-Strike 2 inventory. Browse over 20,000 skins, pick weapons, knives, gloves and agents for every slot, and see the total value of your dream loadout.

How does the budget optimizer work?

Set a total budget (e.g. $100, $500, $1,000) and adjust category distribution sliders to allocate percentages to knives, gloves, rifles, pistols, SMGs, heavy weapons, equipment and agents. Inside a category the money is not split evenly across the weapons: the AK-47 and the AWP are funded far ahead of the G3SG1, and the Spending setting decides how sharp that curve is. Anything the first pass cannot spend goes on filling the slots it could not afford and then on upgrading your knife and your best rifles, so the budget is actually used rather than reported as left over.

Can I share my CS2 loadout with friends?

Yes. Save your loadout and get a shareable link. You can also export your loadout as a PNG image to share on social media or Discord, or compare two loadouts side by side.

What is the Knife + Glove Combo Generator?

The combo generator finds matching knife and glove combinations that look great together. It factors in color themes, budget, and visual compatibility to suggest the best pairings.

What do Value, Balanced and Splurge do?

They change how the budget is spread and what each slot reaches for. Value takes the cheapest skin of the best rarity a slot can afford and spreads the money more evenly, so more of the board gets filled. Balanced is the default and weights the budget towards the weapons a loadout is judged on. Splurge concentrates a category on its hero weapons — most of the rifle budget lands on the AK-47 and the AWP.

What happens when nothing in my colour theme fits the budget?

That is yours to choose. Nearby, the default, falls back to the colours adjacent to your theme before it gives up, so a blue rifle can stand in on a purple board. Only refuses to leave the theme at all and leaves the slot empty for you to fill by hand. Any takes the best skin of any colour, which is what the builder used to do silently. After a themed generate the board reports how many of the equipped slots carry the theme itself.

Does the generator pick agents too?

Yes. Generate and Surprise Me fill your T-side and CT-side agent slots along with everything else, from their own share of the budget, and each side is picked only from the units that actually play on it — so a Phoenix never lands in a CT slot. Untick Agents in the Generate dialog to leave those two slots alone.

Can I view my loadout in 3D?

Yes. Every equipped skin with a 3D model has a 3D button on its tile, and "View in 3D" opens the whole loadout in one viewer with your gloves and agent equipped. Stickers and charms you apply in the builder show up on the model.

What does the loadout grade mean?

The grade is a letter from S to D scored out of 100 across four parts: how much of the board is filled, the average rarity of what is equipped, whether your knife and gloves pair well, and how much your finishes share a theme. The tip under the letter names the change that would raise it most.

Can I import my own CS2 inventory?

Yes. Sign in with Steam and use Import Inventory: the items you already own are placed into their slots — with their real stickers and charms where we can match them to the catalog — so you can plan around what you have instead of starting from an empty board.

How do I get !gen commands for my loadout?

The Gen Codes button lists a !gen command for every equipped skin, ready to paste into a community gen server. Wear values are the midpoint of each exterior band (Field-Tested is 0.265, for example), since a loadout slot is an item type rather than one specific float.

Are the skin prices accurate and up to date?

Yes, all skin prices are pulled from real Steam Community Market data and third-party marketplace prices, updated regularly to reflect current market values.

Do I lose my loadout if I close the tab?

No. Your board is kept in your browser and comes back the next time you open the builder, with a "Start fresh" button if you would rather begin from an empty one. Saving to your account is only needed to share a loadout or reach it from another device.

Is the loadout builder free to use?

Yes, the CS2 Loadout Builder is completely free. No account required to build loadouts — sign in only if you want to save and share.
